    Allison Shreeve is a committed and dedicated athlete, proud to represent Australia at the highest level of her sport of Windsurfing. Her outstanding achievements across four different windsurfing classes have proven inspirational, earning her respect from peers and fans alike. Allison trains and competes overseas, mostly in Europe, Asia, and Oceania for several months each year and returns home to Sydney Australia for national competitions and training throughout Summer. Among her impressive sporting achievements, Allison is a four time Formula Windsurfing World Champion, the ‘A’ Class World Speed Sailing Record holder, and the first and only woman to attempt to windsurf across the formidable Bass Strait.

  • Erik Loots

    Erik Loots, is a professional speed surfer. When the wind blows and water is unfrozen in the Netherlands Erik goes windsurfing improving his skills, and having a lot of fun in the water! In July 2010, Erik achieved 4th position in the GPS-speed surfing world ranking with speeds over 44kn (50mph). His goal for 2011 will be going as fast as possible and try to attempt landing new records and placing even higher in the world rankings.
  • Gerald Dworkin

    Gerald Dworkin is a professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources Inc. (lifesaving.com), a private company dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. Dworkin serves on the Executive Board of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (ndpa.org), and serves on advisory committees for the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the American Red Cross. He has written and published over 40 articles, and regularly consults as a Forensics Expert in drowning and aquatic injury cases. He is currently a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the Harrisville (NH) Fire and Rescue Department, and has worked as a Firefighter/EMT for over 40 years as a both a volunteer and professional. Dworkin is responsible for the development of Educational Curriculums for Lifesaving Resources in the areas of Aquatics Safety; Lifeguard Training, Operations, and Management; Water Rescue; Swiftwater Rescue; and Ice Rescue.   • Janice Jaicks

    Janice Jaicks is a seasoned water fitness professional and a respected authority in the field of Aquatics. The founder of an expanding twice-per-year fitness convention, Janice is an Aquatics group exercise instructor and Personal Trainer, as well as a nationally-recognized author and presenter. In 1985, Janice founded Waterworks On Wheels, Inc., an organization which offers backyard swim lessons to the entire East Valley and Ahwatukee areas of Arizona, and provides year-round indoor lessons at three health club facilities. Waterworks also serves hundreds of clients with safe and effective water aerobic exercise at assisted living facilities, apartment complexes, and community pools where homeowner associations provide classes for their residents. Even with Waterworks' growing number of participants, one of Janice's goals is to provide personalized service to the organization's varying clientele. Janice is also the Fitness Director at Fitness Forum Health Club in Chandler Arizona. She has authored and edited Aquatic instructor manuals and published numerous Aqua fitness articles.     Jenelle Lockard is an adjunct faculty swimming instructor for Penn State- Altoona and a do sales for Greenwood Pools. She is a Lifeguard/Cpr/First Aid Instructor, Pesticides Applicator in PA, and a Certified Pool Operator. She enjoys teaching swimming lessons, water aerobics, and work with local companies and pools in water safety and compliance issues.

  • Mario Vittone

    Mario Vittone has been heading offshore since 1985. His first experience with at-sea emergencies came that first year as ship’s company aboard the USS Coral Sea, a WWII era aircraft carrier. Joining the Coast Guard in 1991 he worked at Training Center Cape May before transferring to the Cutter Point Franklin as a helmsman and small boat coxswain. He graduated from Helicopter Rescue Swimmer School in 1994 and began his career as a rescue swimmer with two tours at Air Station Elizabeth City, one at Air Station New Orleans, then finally as an instructor and course developer at the Aviation Technical Training Center in Elizabeth City, NC. He recently retired from the U.S. Coast Guard following four years as a vessel inspector and accident investigator in Norfolk, Virginia. Mario is a leading expert on immersion hypothermia, drowning, sea survival, and safety at sea. His writing has appeared in Yachting Magazine, SaltWater Sportsman, MotorBoating Magazine, Lifelines, On-Scene, and Reader’s Digest. He has developed courses for municipal rescue teams and the military on search and rescue tactics and open ocean survival. In 2007, he was named as the Coast Guard Active Duty Enlisted Person of the Year and was named as the 2009 recipient of the Alex Haley Award for Journalism. Mario lives with his family in Coastal Virginia, and when he’s not writing about the water he can be found on his 32 foot St. Tropez, making sure she stays above it.

  • Nikola Girke

    Nikola Girke, a two-time Canadian Olympian, and a five-time Canadian Women's Windsurf Champion is among the few athletes who have made the transition from one sport to another and to have competed in two different events at the Olympic Games. At the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, Nikola crewed on the two person 470 sailboat, finishing 13th. In 2005, Nikola switched to RSX windsurfing, launching another — yet completely different — Olympic campaign for Beijing 2008. A respectable 17th place finish at the 2008 Olympic Games inspired Nikola to continue in pursuit of bringing home an Olympic Medal for Canada at the London 2012 Olympic Games in women's windsurfing.
